星音符娱乐制作有限公司成立于2006年,业务涵盖话剧、演唱会、电影及唱片制作。2013年正式成立星音符剧团,致力以话剧推广多元文化与艺术,并培育马来西亚演艺人才。
剧团由导演出德庆创立,发展到今天拥有约三十多位专业演员与幕后团队,以及八十多位非全职演员,并与美国ETS大学合作,为戏剧学生提供实践演出平台。同时积极参与公益活动,与马来西亚自然医学公会(MNA)合作,为癌症病人筹募基金。
剧团代表作品包括《月光》《音乐盒》《红楼梦》《祝英台》《没有泪的天空》等。制作特色结合高清LED背景、3D技术及高品质音响,带来沉浸式舞台体验。《音乐盒》更成功走向国际,在台湾及印尼演出,推动马来西亚话剧文化交流。
未来,星音符剧团将继续以创新舞台技术与原创音乐,打造新一代话剧作品,发掘本地人才,推广中华文化,并提升马来西亚话剧艺术水平。
Symphony Musical House Sdn. Bhd. was established in 2006, with business covering theatre productions, concerts, films, and music production. In 2013, the Symphony Theatre was officially formed, dedicated to promoting multicultural arts through theatre and nurturing performing arts talent in Malaysia.
Founded by director Brian Choot, the troupe consists of more than thirty professional actors and production crew members, along with over eighty part-time performers. The troupe also collaborates with Emmanuel Theology Seminary in the United States to provide practical performance opportunities for drama students. In addition, the troupe actively participates in charitable initiatives, working with the Malaysian Natural Medicine Association (MNA) to raise funds for cancer patients.
Its notable productions include Moonlight, Music Box, The Dream of the Red Mansions, The Butterfly Lovers, and Tearless Sky. The troupe’s productions integrate high-definition LED backdrops, 3D visual technology, and high-quality sound systems to create an immersive theatrical experience. Music Box has also toured internationally, with performances in Taiwan and Indonesia, promoting Malaysian theatre in cultural exchange.
Looking ahead, the Symphony Theatre will continue to innovate in stage technology and original music production, aiming to develop a new generation of theatre, discover local talent, promote Chinese culture, and elevate the standards of theatre arts in Malaysia.

The Spark Theatrical Approach
The stage creations of Symphony Theatre are rooted in an artistic direction deeply influenced by Canadian theatre education.
The foundation of this artistic path was shaped by Spark, a literature and theatre arts mentor from a college in Toronto, Canada. Over the years, she devoted herself to the study of literature, character development, stage performance, and the emotional connection between performers and audiences. Through extensive practical experience in theatre, she gradually developed a performance style that emphasizes authenticity of character, clarity of narrative, completeness of stage presentation, and emotional resonance with the audience.
Later, this performance philosophy profoundly influenced JessC’s direction in theatre creation. Whether in character building, stage presentation, emotional treatment of roles, or the overall rhythm of dramatic storytelling, JessC drew significant inspiration from this approach. Through her stage practices in different countries, she continued to absorb, inherit, and develop this theatrical direction.
During her involvement in stage and theatre creation in Singapore and Canada, JessC established a distinctive performance style through the influence of The Spark Theatrical Approach. Her strengths in character interpretation, stage presence, and audience engagement earned her numerous awards and recognitions. These experiences not only demonstrated the expressive power of this approach in actual stage performance, but also further strengthened JessC’s commitment to promoting and developing this theatrical philosophy.
This artistic direction later became known within Symphony Theatre as The Spark Theatrical Approach.
The Spark Theatrical Approach emphasizes that the stage is not merely a space for performance, but a complete artistic world formed by characters, costumes, props, set design, music, lighting, and emotion. Every detail serves the purpose of making the characters more authentic, the story clearer, and the audience’s entry into the narrative more natural.
