Ms Ang is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Communication and Creative Industries (FCCI) at TAR UMT, specializing in music electives. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in music technology from UPM Conservatorium of Music. During her Bachelor's program, she also minored in music performance, excelling in piano and violin. In addition, Ang has achieved Grade 8 ABRSM certifications in piano, violin, and ARSM in singing. She has had the privilege of receiving vocal training from renowned Malaysian singers such as Mr. Low Kok Yau, the late Mr. Toh Chor Soon, and currently, Mr. Mak Chi Hoe.

Beyond her academic endeavors, Ang actively participates in music workshops both locally and internationally. She is a member of prestigious organizations like the Malaysia Association for Music Education (MAME), The Malaysian Society for Music in Medicine (MSMM), and the International Kodaly Society. Moreover, she generously serves as an adjudicator in students' singing competitions.

As the Advisor and Conductor of the TAR UMT Choir Society since its inception in 2004, Ang has played a pivotal role in its immense success. The choir has thrived, participating actively in various events and competitions globally, including Macau, Taiwan, and China. The choir's remarkable achievements include winning 24 awards to date.
