Naveen Raja is a Malaysian Indian multidisciplinary theatre practitioner best known for his acting debut in Amma Chellam by Anomalist Production, which earned recognition at the 19th Boh Cameronian Arts Awards, and for winning the Festival Director’s Award at Short+Sweet Theatre 2025 for The Violet Veil .
Onstage credits include Garam and Lapar by EJKLSSeni, Son of the Forest by Amberjade Arts, Murder at the Jet by TAH! Productions, Life Is... by KL Men's Chorus and The Relationsh*t Chronicles by Big Nose Productions. He also performed in several children’s productions during his tenure as a resident actor with Hush the Theatre.
Offstage, he has contributed his technical expertise to major productions including Fault Lines, Oceans of Pride: Waves of Legacy, and Teater Muzikal Paduka Cik Siti. He further developed his writing and directing through EJKLSSeni’s The Young Blood Experiment (TYBE). After graduating from TYBE 2024, he went on to stage Ammavin Thuru for Short+Sweet Theatre 2024 and Bloodnight Stains.
Naveen continues to be the beautiful force to be reckoned with in the performing arts industry, holding multi-faceted roles in singing, dancing, acting, writing, directing and on some days, the “tech guy”.
