Naveen Raja burst onto the theatre scene in 2023 with his debut in the BCAA-nominated Amma Chellam and has since dived head-first into every corner of the industry. With on-stage credits for acting (Garam) and dancing (Breaking Borders 1.0), his versatility also shines through off-stage with technical roles as lighting designer (Rust-Scented Confetti) and surtitles operator (Fault Lines) to people-oriented roles as F.O.H (All That Glitz and Glamour) and merchandise salesperson (Seruan Setu). Now, a budding writer-director soon-to-be featured in Short+Sweet 2024: Theatre with his original script Ammavin Thuru, Naveen’s a beautiful force to be reckoned with.
