Jun Wen Wong - Tenor

Opera World – International opera magazine: With a crystal-clear tenor voice, JunWen sounded expressive and lyrical in the opera, "Shim Chung".

Malaysian Tenor, JunWen Wong was under the tutelage of world-renowned tenor Robert Grayson. His brilliant and vibrant voice and exciting stage presence led him to present on many performances. In 2024, JunWen perform in Romance in Opera at the Courtyard presented by Music Makers in Penang. He was the soloist of Beethoven Symphony No.9 presented by Penang Philharmonic Orchestra in Penang. He portraited role of Budda from Siddhartha The Musical with The Asia Musical Productions in Jakarta, Indonesia. He was the soloist of Puccini Centennial Celebration concert Organized by UiTM CCA conservatory of Music. In 2023, he perform in Kaleidopera in Kuala Lumpur and Music Makers Inaugural Concert in Penang. 2021, JunWen premiered an opera role, named La Lupa from the opera “Dante”. He also created Il Giovane Re in the world premiere opera “Shim Chung” with the International Opera Theater of Philadelphia in Italy. He was the first-prize winner at the Sixth Bangkok Opera ASEAN International Singing Competition.
