Syafiq Syazim is a theatre director, educator, and researcher based in Kuala Lumpur. His innovative work has won numerous awards, including best directing at the Malaysia Theatre Festival (2017, 2018) and the Malaysian Universities Cultural Festival (2019). His global engagements include the Hektomeron Project in Romania, performance in Japan, Macau, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Singapore, and the Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama (2021). He is committed to pushing the boundaries of performance and cultural exchange.
