A thriving creative economy depends not just on talent and ideas, but also on the institutions, policies, and protections that support them. This panel brings together key voices to explore how Penang’s current frameworks, from government bodies to creative organisations and policy initiatives that are enabling (or limiting) the growth of the creative sector. The discussion will also spotlight the importance of Intellectual Property rights in helping creatives protect their work, attract investment, and scale sustainably.
