AFTER HOUR – BREATHE is a captivating audio-visual live performance by Malaysian electronic music producer euseng seto, also known as flica. Blending elements of experimental electronic music with cinematic ambiance, this project marks euseng’s return to his electronic roots after several years of crafting soft ambient piano works.
Unfolding as a breathlike journey — varied, alive, and essential — it moves through phases of tension and release, stillness and clarity, toward self-realisation. Rooted in the introspective hours of the night and shaped by a transformation from the practice of design to the emotional leap into full-time music, this performance traces a deeply personal path. Flowing from this journey are a series of emotive and heartfelt compositions that embody both struggle and serenity.
AFTER HOUR – BREATHE invites audiences on a dynamic emotional journey—from delicate piano-driven pieces to expansive post-rock-inspired synth tracks; from high-frequency glitch beats to deep, pulsating techno rhythms; from intimate field recordings to sweeping synthetic soundscapes. It’s a thoughtful interplay between vulnerability and power, stillness and movement.
The live show is a full-spectrum audio-visual experience, where music and visuals are intricately synchronized. The performance brings together four core sonic elements—piano, synthesizer pads, drums, and textures—mapped to stunning visual components. This integration creates a three-dimensional, immersive environment that blurs the line between sound and sight, guiding the audience through a multi-sensory exploration of mood and memory.
