<p>This concert traces a journey from reality to imagination. The first half, “The March of Time,” portrays life’s struggles with restless marches and minor themes, before Boulanger’s Nocturne signals the midnight bell. Caeleb Tee is a Malaysian conductor, composer, and educator, currently serving as a Teaching Fellow at the Sunway University School of Arts. He is the founder and Music Director of Caeleb Tee Music and the 12tone Ensemble, known for pushing the boundaries of sacred and symphonic repertoire in Malaysia. He holds a Master’s Degree in Music Composition from Westminster Choir College (Princeton, NJ), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA).

In 2022, his production Love and Strength United was awarded the prestigious BOH Cameronian Grant for New Productions by Kakiseni, featuring him conducting Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 and Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy. Most recently, Caeleb was honoured with the 20th BOH Cameronian Arts Award for Best Original Composition (Music), affirming his voice as one of the most compelling in Malaysia’s contemporary music scene.

As a conductor, Caeleb has led numerous major performances under Yin Qi Music, including Mozart’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, and the Malaysian premiere of Handel’s Mass in the Troubled Times (Missa in Tempore Belli). His compositional work have also been featured by BachFest Malaysia, Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra, The World Association for Chinese Church Music, Hallelujah Oratorio Society, and the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre String Orchestra.

Caeleb Tee（郑联晨）是一位马来西亚的指挥家、作曲家与教育工作者，现任双威大学艺术学院讲师。他创立了Caeleb Tee Music及12tone Ensemble，致力于推动马来西亚圣乐与交响音乐的新发展。他拥有美国普林斯顿Westminster Choir College音乐作曲硕士学位，以及美国Liberty University钢琴演奏学士学位。

2022年，他的音乐制作《Love and Strength United》荣获第十九届BOH Cameronian新制作资助计划（由Kakiseni颁发），该音乐会中他指挥了普罗科菲耶夫的《第三号钢琴协奏曲》以及贝多芬的《合唱幻想曲》。最近，他凭借原创作品荣获第二十届BOH Cameronian艺术奖“最佳原创作曲奖（音乐）”，肯定了他在马来西亚当代音乐界独特且富有表现力的创作声音。

作为指挥家，Caeleb长期与音契圣乐传播中心（Yin Qi Music）合作，曾率领其合唱团与管弦乐团演出多部经典神剧，包括莫扎特的《安魂曲》、韩德尔的《弥赛亚》以及韩德尔的《战时弥撒》。他的作品与编曲亦曾由BachFest Malaysia、马来西亚爱乐乐团（MPO）、世界华人圣乐促进会、哈利路亚圣乐社及吉隆坡表演艺术中心弦乐团演出。
