&quot;Boo-yah!&rdquo; The #dontlet short plays series is back again with its 6th edition. This time, you should be afraid. Be very afraid.&nbsp;

For this edition of &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t Let Hantu Know&rdquo;, the theatre makers are going to spook you with a compilation of ghostly tales from a zombie attack to a true life encounter with a spirit.&nbsp;

All in all, seven works will be presented in one show, each lasting for approximately 10 minutes. There will be music, dance, musicals and plays in English and Mandarin.&nbsp;

“Dream Big!” he says. Richard Tan is a full time office guy in the day, and always interested to watch and explore the world of performing, and finally took a step. 

He likes trying out different characters and being in different people’s shoes to see the world. Starting out performing in church and university, then came back to learn more about performing in his late 20s. He also joined Monday School Show since 2021.

Richard’s most recent appearance is Don’t Let Hantu Know, presented by The Actors Studio Seni Teater Rakyat & MUKA SPAC.

Jaqueline Teng obtained her Diploma in Music in 2015 at the Malaysian Institute of Arts, with piano performance as her major and classical vocal as her minor. Having more than 10 years of choral experience, she was selected as one of the Malaysian representatives to perform with the prestigious Asia Pacific Youth Choir (APYC). As a part of APYC, she performed at Beijing, Seoul, Macau, and the World Expo 2015 in Milan. Jacqueline has been a part of various award-winning choirs and ensembles, most notably The 4 Of Us Vocal Quartet which is currently Malaysia’s most active pop & jazz a cappella vocal ensemble. They were awarded Best Overall Production and Festival Director's Award at Short+Sweet Choral Malaysia (2015) and were the invited guests to perform at the Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival (YSDAF) 2016 and other countries such as Singapore, Korea, and Taiwan. In 2017, she was awarded Best Overall Production at Short+Sweet Song along with Toh Shir Ling. They were then invited to perform at various events such as “Live@The Actors Studio Singer-Songwriters” and “YSDAF 2018 Singer-Songwriters…And the Curtain Rises”. Jacqueline was awarded Best Supporting Actress at Short+Sweet Musical 2018, where she worked with both Toh Shir Ling and Andrew Lim. The three of them then teamed up once again—this time as composer—for RASA Melaka the Musical 2019. 

Jacqueline  has served as the music director and cast of the highly celebrated “Cabaret Series: Golden Melody” since 2020. The series came to its fourth edition in 2023 and was awarded “Best Musical Direction” at the 18th BOH Cameronian Arts Awards. In the year 2022, Jacqueline continued to stretch as a composer with her involvement in “Inner Thoughts"—featuring fully original compositions by her and Shir Ling, set to the poems of Ms Delia Li, as well as teaming up with Shir Ling and Coebar Abel for the original music of “A Streetcar Named Desire”, both productions directed by Joe Hasham OAM. Jacqueline also served as the music director and pianist for “REWIND”, a sold-out rock music concert, and “Yesterday Once More 4”, a popular golden oldies concert series, which were both directed by Ian Chow. Most recently, she was the co-music director and band leader for “Unforgettable: Lagenda Malaysia”, a heart-warming tribute to honour the rich Malaysian musical heritage, which was also the Gala Night performance for YSDAF 2023. Currently, Jacqueline serves as a voice teacher and Head of the Vocal Department of Dwi Emas, Sri Emas, MITStem International School. 

邓絜予2015年毕业于马来西亚艺术学院音乐系，主修钢琴演奏及副修古典声乐。她拥有超过10年的合唱经验，曾多次代表马来西亚参与亚太青年合唱团（APYC）在北京ˎ 首尔ˎ 澳门及2015米兰世博会的演出。另外，絜予也是多次获奖的人声乐团The 4 Of Us Vocal Quartet的主创成员之一。 2017年，絜予与杜雪菱一起获得Short+Sweet Song的最佳整体制作奖，并受邀参与 “Live @ The Actors Studio Singer-Songwriters” 和 “YSDAF 2018 Singer-Songwriters ...... and Curtain Rises”等演出。她接着在2018年参加了Short + Sweet Musical，获得了最佳女配角奖。2019年，絜予再次与雪菱及林楷宪合作，担任音乐剧《触动古城》(Rasa Melaka the Musical) 的原创音乐作曲者。自2020起，絜予以音乐总监、键盘手以及 歌手的身份参与了《卡巴莱歌舞系列：劲歌金曲》1-4的演出。而《劲歌金曲3》更获得了第18届金马仑艺术大奖的最佳音乐指导奖。她在2022年与雪菱合作，担任《心声》诗歌音乐会的原创音乐作曲者及演出者，并于同年担任了由祖·哈山执导的《欲望号街车》的音乐创作人之一。2023年8月，絜予担任了"Unforgettable： Lagenda Malaysia "音乐会的音乐总监和乐队队长。

杜雪菱在喜欢音乐的家人的影响下，小、中学都参加了学校的军铜乐队和管乐团，从此培养出对音乐的兴趣与热忱。她在大学毕业、步入社会后，也常常和喜欢音乐的朋友们一起玩音乐，并且开始学习歌曲创作。2017年与邓絜予搭档参与“马来西亚精彩十分艺术节”获得Short+Sweet Song的最佳整体制作奖。曾参与“Live@The Actors Studio Singer-Songwriters”、“Yayasan Sime Darby Art Festival 2018 Singer-Songwriters…And the Curtain Rises”、“别让他知道”、“Cabaret Series: Golden Melody 劲歌金曲1-4”等的演出。

2019年，她与邓絜予和林楷宪合作，担任音乐剧《触动古城》(Rasa Melaka the Musical) 的原创音乐作曲者。2022年她与邓絜予合作，担任《心声》诗歌音乐会的原创音乐作曲者及演出者，并于同年担任了由祖·哈山执导的《欲望号街车》的音乐创作人之一。2023年，两人再次携手为巴生滨华中学百年校庆的百人歌舞剧《百年之梦》作曲。

另外，戏剧演出方面，雪菱曾多次参与《别让他知道》系列的演出，并在2022年参与《欲望号街车》的演出。2023年，她也出演由新加坡导演何家伟所执导的《寻找小猫的妈妈》，很荣幸与大马剧场之母”拿督法莉达美利坚有机会同台演出。同年，雪菱在《剧艺研究会60周年钻喜晚宴》上担任大会司仪，同时也参与了由会员们呈现的哑剧《剧艺冰室》的演出。

她一直都希望能够在更多不同的舞台，不断的学习并通过自己的创作和表演将感动和喜悦带给大家。



Toh Shir Ling was exposed to music at an early age under the influence of her music-loving parents and sister. She actively participated in various brass bands and symphonic bands throughout elementary and high schools, where she developed a deep passion for music. Even after graduating from college and becoming a working adult, Shir Ling often plays music with friends who share her interest in music and she eventually ventured into song-writing. In 2017, Shir Ling participated in Short+Sweet Song and she was awarded Best Overall Production for her composition along with Jacqueline Teng. She has since been invited to perform at "Live@The Actors Studio Singer-Songwriters", "Yayasan Sime Darby Art Festival 2018 Singer-Songwriters...And the Curtain Rises", “Don’t Let Him Know'' and “Cabaret Series: Golden Melody 1-4”. 

In 2019, she collaborated alongside Jacqueline Teng and Andrew Lim, composing the original music for the enchanting musical "Rasa Melaka the Musical." Their creative synergy flourished again in 2022 when she and Jacqueline Teng jointly composed for the mesmerizing “Inner Thoughts"—featuring fully original compositions by her and Jacqueline Teng. This artistic journey continued as she became one of the musical composers for "A Streetcar Named Desire," guided by the director Joe Hasham that same year. In 2023, the duo reunited to compose the music for "Dream of a Century," a centennial musical  commemorating the 100th anniversary of Pin Hwa High School in Klang.

In theatrical performances, Shir Ling has been involved in multiple productions of the "Don't Let Him Know" series, and she participated in the performance of "A Streetcar Named Desire" in 2022. Her acting journey continued into 2023, where she captivated audiences in "Mama Looking For Her Cat," under the direction of Singaporean luminary Benjamin Ho. Sharing the limelight in MLFHC with Dato' Faridah Merican, the first lady of Malaysian theater, was an immense privilege. That year, she showcased her versatile talents as the host of the "The Dramatic Arts Society's 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner" and also showcased her talent in the drama performance titled "Juyi Kopitiam".

全新劇場作品《夢的故事》由馬來西亞「平台計劃／劇團」與日本「亜細亜の骨」跨國製作。集結日本、台灣與馬來西亞三方的表演藝術工作者，以「夢」為核心，結合多種表演藝術形式，解放深埋於潛意識的瘋狂自我，探索人在虛構與現實、歷史與當代曖昧交織下的心靈圖像。 
 
《夢的故事》由一群滯留於夢境海關的人們開始，百無聊賴之下，開始分享彼此的夢境故事。在這一個又一個的故事中，現代人生活的焦慮、壓抑的慾望，都在夢中變化成了時而瘋狂戲謔、時而優美詩意的幻想場景。更由於藉由東方文化中夢境與死亡連結的模糊地帶，為演出增添一抹亦真亦假的傳奇色彩。

夢的故事

貝多芬將他多情的文字遺留在抽屜中，字裡行間流露的情感如同他留給世人的樂音，直接且濃烈。我們猜不透這永恆的愛戀究竟何去何從，只盼這份愛戀能流淌於世人心中。 
本次展演以貝多芬《永恆的愛人》書信發想編創，由臺灣、德國兩地文字、音樂與影像藝術創作者跨域製作。 
時代前進的腳步使物理距離不再是阻礙，但病毒與戰爭卻使其成為我們對現下時空的盼望。2022年的天空下，我們用數位的方式與你們相見，牽起你遠方的他、家鄉與國家。

When three sisters returned after many years to their old family home in Huwei, Yunlin, they found that their uncle, aunt, third great-uncle, and second great-aunt had hardly aged a day; only the passage of time had left its mark on the derelict house. The sisters, initially falling over each other to waive their right to inheritance, in an unexpected series of events were drawn into their second great-uncle&rsquo;s dying wish&mdash;the Song family member that performs in the soul-guiding song troupe may receive the family&#039;s multimillion-dollar inheritance. The three sisters took on the challenge; with aim of splitting the inheritance, they started from scratch and retrained themselves in the art of the soul-guiding song. As they searched through the small town, they unexpectedly evoked memories of their long-lost father&mdash;a gambler and Taoist priest, and their mother, a professional mourner, and the estranged family ties, at long last, emerged one after another.
