Caeleb Tee is a Malaysian conductor, composer, and educator, currently serving as the Acting Director of the Sunway Conservatoire of Music and a Teaching Fellow at Sunway University. As the founder and Music Director of Caeleb Tee Music and the 12tone Ensemble, he is recognized for pushing the boundaries of sacred and symphonic repertoire in Malaysia. He holds a Master’s Degree in Music Composition from Westminster Choir College (Princeton, NJ) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA).

In 2022, Caeleb’s production Love and Strength United was awarded the prestigious BOH Cameronian Grant for New Productions by Kakiseni, featuring him conducting Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 and Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy. He was also recently honored with the 20th BOH Cameronian Arts Award for Best Original Composition (Music), affirming his voice as one of the most compelling in Malaysia’s contemporary music scene.

As a conductor, Caeleb has led numerous major performances under Yin Qi Music, including Mozart’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, and Dixit Dominus. His compositional works have been featured by the Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra, BachFest Malaysia, The World Association for Chinese Church Music, Hallelujah Oratorio Society, and the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre String Orchestra.

郑联晨 (Caeleb Tee) 是马来西亚指挥家、作曲家及音乐教育家。目前担任双威音乐学院 (Sunway Conservatoire of Music) 代院长以及双威大学音乐系教学研究员。作为 Caeleb Tee Music 与 12tone Ensemble 的创办人兼音乐总监，他以在马来西亚推广及突破圣乐与交响乐曲目的边界而闻名。他拥有美国普林斯顿西敏合唱学院 (Westminster Choir College) 的音乐作曲硕士学位，以及美国自由大学 (Liberty University) 的钢琴演奏学士学位。

2022年，其制作的(Love and Strength United) 荣获 Kakiseni 颁发的 BOH 金马伦艺术奖 (BOH Cameronian) 新制作资助金；在该制作中，他亲自指挥了普罗科菲耶夫《第三钢琴协奏曲》及贝多芬的《合唱幻想曲》。近期，联晨更荣获第20届 BOH 金马伦艺术奖“最佳原创作曲奖”，进一步肯定了他作为马来西亚当代乐坛最具影响力声音之一的地位。

在指挥方面，联晨曾带领 音契合唱团 (Yin Qi Music) 演出多部大型作品，包括莫扎特的《安魂曲》、韩德尔的《弥赛亚》及《诗篇：耶和华说》(Dixit Dominus)。他的作曲作品也曾在马来西亚爱乐乐团 (MPO)、马来西亚巴赫节 (BachFest Malaysia)、世界华人基督教圣乐促进会、哈利路亚圣咏团及吉隆坡表演艺术中心 (KLPAC) 弦乐团的演出中亮相。

Under the artistic direction of Caeleb Tee, the ensemble brings together its chamber choir and string orchestra—led by concertmaster Alyssa Chong—to present inspiring performances that balance artistic excellence with fresh, accessible programming.

Our repertoire spans sacred choral works, timeless masterpieces, contemporary compositions, and chamber orchestra gems, with a passion for both renowned and emerging composers. Guided by a committee-led spirit and a commitment to innovation, 12tone Ensemble seeks to make classical music meaningful and relevant in the modern world, nurturing a deeper appreciation for both choral and instrumental artistry.composers. 12tone Ensemble

Zhang Chi graduated from Monash University(Melbourne), Master of music. He was engaged in many concerts and boardcasting during the years in Australia. After graduation, he moved to Penang, Malaysia, activated as concert pianist, piano teacher, piano collaborator, and composer. He often perfoms with both local and international musicians,and played concertos with orchestrals as well as piano solo recitals. He is often invited to be jury in many competitions. Mr. Zhang Chi is also a Steinway Artist and Steinway Teacher and Education Partner.
