Ensemble Virama celebrates its 10th Anniversary, with a special programme of French & American Chamber Music, collaborating with internationally renowned trumpet virtuoso Hou Chuan-An. Having held the position of Principal Trumpet of the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, and currently an Assistant Professor at the National Taiwan University of Arts, Chuan-An has brought home many accolades: XVI Tchaikovsky Competition, Jeju International Brass Competition, International Trumpet Guild Solo Competition, to name a few.

Since its inception in 2015, Ensemble Virama has focused on crafting intelligent Chamber Music programmes for the Malaysian Audience. The ensemble works regularly with musicians of diverse levels and ages. They have presented concerts, workshops, and lectures, collaborating with Khazanah Megatrends Forum, Bachfest Malaysia, Johor Bahru Classical Music Festival, to name a few. A recipient of the Boh Cameronian Arts Awards 2018, Ensemble Virama continues to create musical experiences that are unique to this region.

Concert & Ticketing Policy
- Venue Accessibility: Due to the limited parking spaces available at the venue, we highly encourage patrons to consider carpooling, using e-hailing services, or combining public transport options. Please also note that the venue is not disabled-friendly.
- Age limit: Admission for children aged 7 and above only. Parents may be asked to remove disruptive children from the hall during the show.
- Admission: Patrons are recommended to be seated 15 minutes prior to the performance. Late arrivals will be admitted only during suitable breaks in the show.
- Recording/Photography: Photography, video recording, and audio recording are strictly prohibited during artist performances. However, you may engage in these activities during non-performance moments, like bows and applause. Please ensure that your camera flash is disabled before capturing photos.
