Join us on a thrilling musical odyssey, back to the Viking world of 1000 AD. Expect sword fights and romance, Viking warships and witches, and a story based on true events that changed the course of European history. 

Our story is much more than a lesson in history though. It is a strikingly familiar human drama,  of two Kings, facing impossible odds with tears and laughter, love and faith--but at every turn, running up against counter forces of  betrayal, greed, ambition and revenge. 

Immerse yourself in our hauntingly beautiful set that will steal you away into the misty forests of Scandinavia, to an exotic world of Odin, Freja and Thor, where you experience Viking trials and triumphs in a unique and unforgettable theatre performance. 

Our talented all-Malaysian cast of 21, led by an award-winning artistic team (Aida Redza, Dominic Luk, Karam Tabba)  brings this classic Saga to life on stage. These young talents give it all they have, performing stirring ballads, war chants and laments with energy and passion, supported by live band and inspiring orchestral arrangements of Penang’s own Vince de Leon. 

After a successful Dublin premiere in (2016), a production review in London (2018) and pre-production in Penang (2020), the show has been praised by reviewers for its fast-moving script and evocative original musical score.  Directed by Karam Tabba, musical direction by Dominic Lucien Luk and choreography by Aida Redza.

In the year 1000 AD, the Vikings’ old traditions are threatened by winds of change sweeping in from powerful forces to the South, as Forkbeard of Denmark plots to destroy Olav of Norway, once his most trusted brother-in-arms. The looming “clash of giants” pulls all into its vortex— a beloved son who is caught in the middle of their feud and an estranged sister who loves her brother’s enemy. All are driven by a Queen’s conversation with the mysterious Norn sisters, as the wrath of Odin hastens the players in their race to recover a ring of blood-red amber stolen from a King’s hand. Will the bonds of brotherhood that once held them so securely in the arms of Odin be able to overcome the human tides of hatred and revenge?  All remains in the hands of the Gods…
