Golden Melody 5: Kings Meet Queens brings you iconic Cantopop and Mandopop numbers by the Four Heavenly Kings – Jacky Cheung, Leon Lai, Aaron Kwok and Andy Lau – as well as four beloved queens – Anita Mui, Sally Yeh, Sandy Lam and Priscilla Chan.

Directed by Ian Chow and co-directed by Easee Gan with Jacqueline Teng as Music Director and Zhafir Muzani as Choreographer, Golden Melody 5 welcomes back familiar faces and voices Dickson Chai, MayJune Tan, Ruby Yap, Tan Li Yang. This edition also introduces four vocalists, Brandon Leong, Eva Tham, Jerry Pang, Yvette San, part of klpac Connect’s mentorship programme. 

They will be backed by a 6-piece band led by Teng on the digital grand piano, Toh Shir Ling on keyboard, BalRai on bass, Alex Lee on drums, Jeremy James Kong on guitar and Chow on percussion. Completing the GM5 dream team are Stylist Beatrice Looi, Lighting Designer Amelia Tan & Sound Engineer Jaslyn Niow.

Packed with a good dose of nostalgia and feel-good factor, Golden Melody (Best Musical Direction, BOH Cameronian Arts Awards) makes a great night out for families and friends.

《劲歌金曲5》演唱会将致敬香港乐坛的四大天王与天后，带领观众重温90年代香港乐坛巅峰时期的经典作品！火遍全亚洲的四大天王包括张学友、刘德华、黎明、郭富城，而四大天后则有梅艳芳、叶倩文、林忆莲及陈慧娴称霸乐坛。

导演周奕延继续领航《劲歌金曲5》，与联合导演颜永祯及音乐总监邓絜予携手合作，齐聚本地多位实力唱将和乐手，包括陈美君、叶俞均、陈立扬、蔡迪伸、杜雪菱、鼓手李哲信、吉他手Jeremy James Kong及贝斯手BalRai。梦幻创作团队包括资深服装设计师 Beatrice Looi、灯光设计师爱美丽亚、音响师梁依琳以及编舞家 Zhafir Muzani 联手打造星光熠熠演唱会，带来一场诚意满满的演出！

在《klpac Connect》项目之培训计划下，《劲歌金曲5》也有四位新血加入阵容，包括申艺诗、彭浩权、谭于琳及梁轩慎，为演出注入新活力。

本节目由艺人馆基金会、Kawai Malaysia 及 Music Bliss 所支持，也获得 MACP 执照。
