In the event that you decide to drive, we suggest parking at the K88 food court. From there, proceed by walking to your left on Jalan Klang Lama towards the BHP petrol station. Shortly after passing the BHP station, you will notice a green sign ‘Getha’. Between the BHP and Getha is the path you should take. Once you reach the end of that road, make a left turn, and you will find kongsiKL situated on your left-hand side.

Director
Tung Jit Yang

TUNG JIT YANG, is a performer and director. He is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of Arts. His past works include, "To Which My Brother Laughed;" a work in response to the public caning of the two women in Terengganu; movement direction for “Dato Seri,” a Malaysian adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth; “Losertown,” an experimental musical with non-actor-musicians; spearheading “The New Play Project,” bringing to the foreground Malaysia’s contemporary playwrights; and “Riwayat” a movement based work which was invited in 2017 for the renowned Georgetown Festival (Malaysia).

Adiwijaya Iskandar

ADIWIJAYA ISKANDAR’s plays include Allah! (2009), Rancangan Harijadi Terhebat Adli  (The Greatest Plan for an Incredible Birthday Celebration Brought to You By Adli) (2010), Bapak (Father)(2013), and There Are Worse Things Than Loneliness (2014). Adiwijaya Iskandar’s work has been produced and/or developed by the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC); The Actor’s Studio and Teater Rakyat; and Liminal Edge. Awards include: Best Overall Production Short and Sweet Kuala Lumpur 2009 and Best Script for Short and Sweet Kuala Lumpur 2009.

Yusman Mokhtar

YUSMAN MOKHTAR is a theatre graduate from the National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage (ASWARA) where he majored in Scenography. Past design credits include Muzikal Uda dan Dara (UA Productions & Istana Budaya), Boom (TAS), Kiss of the Spider Woman (TAS), Angels in America (theathrethreesixty), Supermokh the Musical [co-designed with Omar Ali] (Tall Order Productions), Dato’ Seri (TAS), Thunderstorm (TAS), Bangsawan Dendam Laksamana (PIPE), OCD (TAS), Hansel & Gretel (KLCO), Pokok (Balang RImbun & DBP), A Man for All Seasons (TAS), Rashomon (TAS), Earthshine (Franco) and A Streetcar Named Desire (TAS). His works have been nominated for multiple BOH Cameronian Arts Awards, most recently for Best Lighting Design for Theatre for Rashomon and A Streetcar Named Desire, and was the recipient of Best Costume Design for Theatre for Kandang at the 15th BCAA, while his collaboration with Omar Ali on Paper Crane won the Best Set Design at the 2012 ADA Drama Awards.

Bryan Chang

BRYAN CHANG is a designer—a generalist, his work revolves around graphic design, scenography and media arts. He has worked with, among others, The Bangkung Row Restaurants, British Council Malaysia, KLPAC, Theatresauce and The Cooler Lumpur Festival. Recent highlights include Dari Lumpur Ke Laut; Dari Pinggiran vol.1: SK Danau Perdana; Kampung Baru; Langkawi Walk The Doc 2022; Kaleidoscope Japan: Every Thought I’ve Ever Had; Hubs For Good Toolkit; MayWe Exhibition: Belas Masa; Unity (1918). He is also a co-founder of sans collective, an interdisciplinary art and design collective

Faiq Syazwan Kuhiri- Mahdi Omar (Edi) 

FAIQ SYAZWAN KUHIRI is a performer and musician.  He is a member of Five Arts Centre, a dynamic collective of Malaysian artists, activists, and producers. With Five Arts Centre he has performed in Something I Wrote, 2-minute solos - art meets politics, Baling, Version 2020, A Notional History, and Oppy & Professor Communitas, as well as in Lee Ren Xin’s B.E.D. series.

Faiq creates his own original music with the rock band Terrer. Their new EP Kaum Lelaki is available on all major music streaming platforms as well as on CD.  

Farah Rani- Maznah Omar (Maz)

FARAH RANI is an actor based in Kuala Lumpur. In her career spanning 17 years, Farah has been an avid theatre practitioner. She is most known for her roles in Instant Café Theatre’s 'Parah' (as Melur), 'Nadirah' (as Maznah) and 'Gold Rain & Hailstones' (as Amy), Playground Productions' 'Projek Disko Baldi', The Actors Studio's 'Kandang' (as Bintaga), and ph7 Productions' 'The Language Archive' (as Emma).  Her film credits include Dain Said’s ‘Iman Untuk Bulan’ (as Ida), Moo Siew Keh’s ‘Back To You’ (as Kamariah Muda), and Liew Seng Tat’s ‘Flowers In The Pocket’ (as Cikgu Dara). Farah is also a member of Kuala Lumpur’s longest running improv troupe, AIIA Improv. 

Mia Sabrina Mahadir- Rokiah Abdul Rahman (Rokiah)

MIA SABRINA MAHADIR  is a multidisciplinary artist. She acts, directs, writes, teaches, makes resin ashtrays and soy candles, reads Tarot and rescues cats. She recently graduated from Theatresauce’s Emerging Directors Lab 2021/2022 and believes that learning is lifelong. Having started her theatre career from Short+Sweet Malaysia 2012, her notable works include “Doa Untuk Mak” (wins Best Supporting Actress 2018), 15904 KM (a Best Actress nominee for BMW Shorties 2016), “Wayang” (wins Festival Director Award 2019) and “Orang Muda, Darah Muda”, her recent devised work for EDL which she directed, wrote, and performed in. Mia had a good high school experience, being a straight As student and the most popular Malay girl in school. Today at 30, she remained friends with only a handful of them. (@kutufutubom)

Nabil Zakaria- Hisham Mansur (Hisham) 

NABIL ZAKARIA  is an actor who joined T4YP (Theatre for Young People) at KLPac (Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre) in 2010. Afterwards, he was involved in theatre productions such as ‘Kandang’ (Best of 2017 - BOH Cameronian Arts Award 2018), ‘Perempuan Terjahanam’, ‘The Tragicomedy of Errors’, ‘Polos’, ‘Shakespeare Demystified: The Merchant of Venice’, before playing the lead role in ‘Philadelphia! Here I Come’ in 2022. Films that he has appeared in include ‘Daulat’, ‘Ola Bola’ and the upcoming ‘Tiger Stripes’, with more appearances in series/telemovies like ‘Imam PI’, ‘Ex-Aku Pontianak’ and ‘Bo Bajet’. He also hosts TV Programs and travelogues.
