Dreams and Improvisation an expression of the accumulated yearnings, dreams, and wisdom of the soul. Improvisation encourages creativity. It’s an outlet for personal expression. It’s the way to develop and differentiate yourself from others.
Join University College Fairview Assistant Professor, Dr. Poom Prommachart in this Grand Piano Recital where he perform some of the famous piano pieces by Gershwin, Chopin, Debussy and the lesser known but no less impressive work by Nikolai Medtner Sonata in E Minor, Op. 25, No. 2 (Night Wind). This concert will also feature a special guest performance from Dr. Poom’s Students at The University College Fairview, where they will perform Poulenc Clarinet Sonata. This concert will be performed on a Steinway piano as part of their 170th Anniversary. Dr. Poom Prommachart is also the Brand ambassador Kaimirra Tutan.

Having performed in Romania, Uruguay, Serbia, South Korea, Singapore, Italy, Japan, and Malaysia, Steinway Artist Poom Prommachart has established himself as one of the most promising artists of his generation for his impeccable physical demonstration, sincerity as well as the extreme lyricism. An alumnus of the prestigious of Royal College of Music, Moscow Conservatory, and Université de Montréal, Poom has won multiple awards including prizes in Orford (Canada), Sussex, Isidor Baljic, and Thailand international piano competitions, as well as a Tagore Gold Medal, presented by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales upon his graduation from the Royal College. Poom is currently the artistic director of the Thailand Steinway Youth Piano Competition and Piano Island Festival, as well as a faculty member with the Fairview University College.
