Once Upon A Time (Part 2): “The Curse of Mahsuri” & “Raja Bersiong: The King with Fangs”

“Once Upon a Time” is a 5 part series of the almost forgotten Malaysian folklore, legends and tales of yesteryears. Each part consists of two stories, with the duration of 45 minutes each. Part 2 of the series will feature “The Curse of Mahsuri” and “Raja Bersiong : The King with Fangs”.

 

The Curse of Mahsuri

A legend of the virtuous maiden, her tragic death and her dying curse.

 

Raja Bersiong: The King with Fangs

Tale of a king who had an unusual appetite for meals served with a drop of human blood. His taste for blood grew so intense that over time he grew fangs and began attacking his own people to feast on them.

《很久很久以前》系列將以五部演出來呈獻馬來西亞那些幾乎被遺忘的民間故事與傳說。每部演出將包含兩個故事，每個故事時長約 45 分鐘。這個系列的第二部將為觀眾帶來《瑪蘇麗的詛咒》(The Curse of Mahsuri) 與《狼牙拉惹》 (Raja Bersiong : The King with Fangs)。

 

瑪蘇麗的詛咒 (The Curse of Mashuri)

美麗的瑪蘇麗遭遇迫害，臨死前悲痛詛咒這地。

 

狼牙拉惹 (Raja Bersiong : The King with Fangs)

一位國王的口味十分異常，尤其喜愛滴上一滴人血的飯菜。他長時間對人血的嗜好竟然讓他長出一對狼牙，並開始殘害食用自己的子民。

“Once Upon a Time” terbahagi kepada 5 siri dari cerita rakyat dan lagenda rakyat Malaysia yang hampir dilupakan. Setiap bahagian terdiri daripada dua cerita, dan masing-masing berdurasi selama 45 minit. Bahagian 2, akan menampilkan “The Curse of Mahsuri” dan “Raja Bersiong : The King with Fangs”.

 

Sumpahan Mahsuri (The Curse of Mashuri)

Legenda seorang gadis bernama Mahsuri yang teraniaya dan beliau telah membuat sumpahan sebelum mati.

 

Raja Bersiong: Raja Bertaring (Raja Bersiong : The King with Fangs)

Kisah seorang raja yang suka menyantap darah manusia sehingga tumbuh taring atau siong dimulutnya. Baginda juga telah menyerang orangnya sendiri untuk memenuhi ketagihannya.
