Saying goodbye to a year gone by and welcoming a new one often makes us reflect. We think about what and who we have lost or gained, circumstances and relationships that are the same or have changed and the things we have not done or want to do. Just like that, as a Malaysian performing arts group, we ask have we done enough? Where do we want to go from here? How do we start the new year with the challenges that are still ahead? As we go through this phase of our lives that is unpredictable, we rely on a few valuable lessons to keep us going. Though not restricted to, change and adaptability, courage, gratitude and hard work go a long way. Each phase (good or bad) in our lives teaches us different lessons that can help us to move forward. We aim to become better people with clearer perspectives. ‘Phases’ are lessons from the past, with skills, experiences and ideas that are current and new, towards a better tomorrow. We (at HANDS) intend to always do more, to continuously present and share our work which truly merges the unique and beautiful cultures of Malaysia.

与过往道别，正准备迎新的这一刻，常让我们沉思。彼此思索着这段日子所失去与收获的人事物，变幻与恒常的现实环境和人际关系，以及大家未完待续和跃跃欲试的事物。于是，作为马来西亚表演艺术团体，我们经常反思自己的不足，探索着接下来要往的方向，以及在这严峻的时刻如何开启新的一年？正当经历了这一段无从预警的日子，唯有依靠生命中珍贵的经验，好让彼此往前迈进。自我期许以清晰的视角成为更好的自己。“驛站/过程” 是充满着过往和现今技巧、经验与想法的一堂课，带领着大家通往更好的明天。我们（手集团）愿意承担更多，以继续呈现和分享更多融合马来西亚美丽与独特文化的作品。
