Tapestry presents ANTHOLOGY

Synopsis:

ANTHOLOGY coincides with Tapestry’s 10th anniversary and will feature our reflections on the power of music and the arts to help us feel, heal, escape, imagine, travel, and live. We celebrate how important music and the arts were in our lives during the long months of the pandemic and in lockdown. 

In the intimate setting of the heritage mansion, Rumah Tangsi, in Kuala Lumpur, the show will include pop, rock, jazz and music theatre numbers that evoke nostalgia or tell stories about life and relationships - sung a cappella or with a live three-piece band.

Part of the proceeds from ANTHOLOGY will go towards a charitable cause selected by Tapestry.

About Tapestry:

Tapestry is a home-grown vocal group which was formed in 2012 out of a passion for music and singing. Tapestry’s repertoire spans a wide genre, and includes spirituals, contemporary pop, jazz, blues, gospel, music theatre and rock in conventional four-part harmony and exciting eight-part harmonies which are predominantly sung a cappella. The group has since produced eight sold-out shows; Christmas Tapestry (2012), Stereo & Popcorn (2013), Human After All (2014), The Living Room Sessions (2015), About Aisya (2016), Christmas-themed A-cap-pel-la la la la la la (2016), their 5th anniversary celebration, Tape5try (2017) and The Living Room Sessions: Sofa So Good (2018). Back from a four-year hiatus, Tapestry is excited to connect with their audience once again to share life and music.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

Entrance 

• Although MySejahtera check-in is no longer mandatory, we would like to check on guests’ health/risk status to allow admittance, so please ensure to update your MySejahtera profile before entering the premises.
• Individuals with ‘High Risk’ status on MySejahtera and those under Home Surveillance Order (HSO) will not be allowed entry.
• We highly encourage all guests to perform a COVID-19 self-test before coming to the premises and keep their masks on during the show for the safety of everyone present.

Tickets

• Tickets are available online at Cloudtix until show-time, subject to availability.
• For sold out shows, guests may buy walk-in tickets at the door, subject to availability. Please check our social media platforms for up-to-date ticketing information.
• Children under 2 who can sit comfortably on your laps do not require tickets.

Location

• The show will be held in the ground floor main hall of Rumah Tangsi (10, Jalan Tangsi, Tasik Perdana, 50480 Kuala Lumpur).
• Access to the performance space is wheelchair friendly from the carpark area.

Parking

• Parking on-site is limited to 30 spaces in the compound and 10 spaces on the street.
•  Those driving have these alternative options: Dataran Merdeka basement parking (10 minute walk) and Padang Merbok/ASWARA (15-20 minute walk).
• Travel by LRT: Stop at Masjid Jamek or Pasar Seni and take a Grab.

Seating

• Free seating will commence 20 minutes before the show.
• If sitting in a large group, please enter the hall together to ease traffic and facilitate convenient seating. Otherwise, guests will be seated in the next best available seats.

Food & Beverage

• Dining options are available on the premises before the show. Service starts at 5pm (Friday-Saturday) and 12pm (Sunday). Please check our social media platforms for more details.
