Unforgettable: Lagenda Malaysia (klpac & TAS Foundation’s Fundraiser)

YSDAF 2023 Gala Night performance, Unforgettable: Lagenda Malaysia, will be enjoying an extended run from 24 to 27 August as a fundraiser for klpac & TAS Foundation.

A collaboration between directors Ian Chow and Dato’ Dr. Faridah Merican as well as co-director Joe Hasham OAM, this tribute pays homage to legendary Malaysian artistes from the 60s to the 90s that have become household names such as Sudirman, Saloma, P. Ramlee, Ramli Sarip, M. Nasir, Sheila Majid, Alleycats, Search, Wings, and many more. 

Sit back and enjoy a magical evening of well-known Malaysian tunes such as One Thousand Million Smiles, Getaran Jiwa, Madu Tiga, Doa Buat Kekasih, Sinaran and Ikhlas Tapi Jauh performed by Fuad of Kyoto Protocol with Alisya Jamali, Andrew George, Hazziq, Lisa Marilyn Anthony and Miza Rosli. 
 
The six vocalists will be accompanied by a 30-strong The klpac Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Lee Kok Leong (Music Director) and a 4-piece band led by Jacqueline Teng (Co-Music Director / Band Leader / Keyboardist).
 
This heart-warming tribute to honour our rich musical heritage is the perfect way to celebrate Malaysia’s Merdeka month and usher in the Malaysia Day celebrations.
