Qahar was trained as an actor at the Michael Howard Studios in New York. He studied Voicework with David Wells and the "Shakespeare in The Present" series of workshops with Patsy Rodenburg. Qahar was a Best Supporting Actor nominee for the 17th BOH Cameronian Art Awards in 2020.
