Born in 1998 in Kuala Lumpur, Daniel Chin has been immersed in choral music for over 14 years. His journey began with the SMKS1 Choir during high school and grew through his involvement with the INTI IICS Choir at university, where he contributed to their Gold Award-winning performance at the Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod Kuala Lumpur in 2023.
Currently, Daniel is singing professionally with the Lollapalooza Singers and the Ottophony Singers, under the tutelage of renowned conductors Koh Tian Yi and Darrel Chan. In 2024, Daniel performed in Daegu, South Korea, as part of the Asia Pacific Youth Choir, representing Malaysia on an international stage.
He currently leads the Ave Maria Choir at the Church of the Holy Rosary, KL. He is also a regular member of the Aurori choir in the same church, bringing his dedication to sacred choral traditions and community music to life. Daniel is also a Co-Founder of PaperBox Malaysia, a new Malaysian startup with the goal of reducing food wastage locally.
