The Portland State Chamber Choir, praised by Classics Today as “amongst the finest choirs in the world,” has garnered over 30 international awards since its founding in 1975, including top honors at the Seghizzi International Competition and the Bali International Choral Festival. They record with Naxos and have released acclaimed albums such as The Doors of Heaven and Translations, which topped classical charts and received praise from Gramophone and Stereophile. Known for their artistic versatility, they regularly perform with the Oregon Symphony and have taken on diverse projects—from opera premieres and video game concerts to winning an Indian classical music reality show—demonstrating their dynamic presence on the world stage.Voka Chamber Choir, a vibrant ensemble established in 2018 by a group of passionate university graduates, is led by conductor Lee Jian Zhen. With members juggling their careers and their love for music, the choir embodies dedication and enthusiasm. They've grown from eager beginners to a prominent choir in Malaysia, aspiring to bring joy and excellence to the choral scene. Voka Chamber Choir represents the spirit of collective growth and the transformative power of music. The choir has obtained multiple Gold Awards at international competitions, including being named the Category Winner of the Mixed Choir category in the Bali International Choir Festival 2024.Ottophony Vocal Ensemble is an award-winning vocal octet based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, known for its versatility and vocal excellence. Founded as a quintet and debuting in 2017, the group has grown in prominence through performances at notable events such as Young Malaysian Go Classics Vol. II and the Hungarian Embassy’s Gala Dinner. Internationally, they have been featured at festivals like Sacred Polyphony 2 (2019) and the Voices of Singapore Festival (2022). Ottophony has garnered multiple Gold Awards at international competitions, including the 2023 Vietnam International Choir Festival, where their artistic director Darrel Chan was also named Best Conductor. Under Darrel’s leadership, the ensemble continues to innovate and make a mark on the global choral stage.
