Freedom Talk: Community Filmmaking in SouthEast Asia

Often marginalised or unrecognised, community filmmaking is in fact a vital part of the filmmaking ecosystem. Community filmmaking allows individuals and communities to find their voices and harness their agency to make the change they want. Come and hear from community filmmakers across Southeast Asia about how filmmaking has impacted them and others.

This event is part of FreedomFilmFest 2024, which is organised by Freedom Film Network (Pertubuhan Perfileman Sosial Malaysia), a non-profit society dedicated to the development and promotion of social justice and human rights films.
