關於
Run Princess, Run! is a witty, contemporary reimagining of the classic Snow White fairy tale, layered with humour, satire, and modern sensibilities.
The story begins in a whimsical garden where Princess Snow White enjoys her peaceful life among friendly forest creatures. Her world changes when her father remarries a vain and power-hungry new queen. Inside the palace, the new queen’s coronation is filled with flattery and fear, as her insecurity quickly turns to jealousy upon learning from her Magic Mirror that Snow White is “the fairest of them all.”
Determined to eliminate her rival, the Queen orders her bumbling Huntsman to kill Snow White. However, he spares the princess, who escapes into a dark forest filled with comic yet menacing creatures. She finds refuge in a cottage with seven quirky “runaway” children, each with distinct personalities and modern-day flaws.
Despite warnings, Snow White later falls prey to the Queen—disguised as an old crone—who tempts her with a poisoned apple. But this Snow White is no helpless damsel; she cleverly exposes the Queen’s deceit with the help of the forest animals, townsfolk, and a reluctant yet well-meaning Prince Charming.
The tale ends on a triumphant and comedic note as justice is served, lessons on vanity, kindness, and self-worth are learned, and everyone unites in an upbeat finale celebrating courage, cleverness, and community.
