《萨勒姆的女巫》是美国剧作家阿瑟·米勒最震撼人心的剧作，改编自美国萨勒姆镇一桩审判女巫的真实案件，连累数百人被吊死。剧情述说牧师女儿昏迷不醒，请“驱巫”高手来调查。其他少女为了保护自己，一起装神弄鬼、诬陷他人。男主人公约翰为了解救无辜的妻子，冒死揭露阴谋，还是无法阻止这场杀戮。

"The Crucible" is the most compelling work by American playwright Arthur Miller, adapted from the real-life witch trials in Salem, where hundreds of people were hanged. The plot revolves around the daughter of a pastor who falls into a coma, prompting the arrival of a "witch hunter" to investigate. In order to protect themselves, other girls engage in deceptive practices, falsely accusing others. The protagonist, John, risks his life to expose the conspiracy in an attempt to save his innocent wife. However, he is unable to prevent the bloodshed that ensues.
