Present Transition: an Evening of Contemporary Dance Performance
Choreographed by Fairul Zahid
Transition is a mixed bill of contemporary dance works by Fairul Zahid and produced by JUXT Studio, Malaysia X LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. This year Fairul Zahid will bring 4 new works to the Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC). Transition represents Zahid's journey as an artist. It reflects his beginning as a traditional dancer and the subsequent shift to contemporary dance. Transition is performed by artists from Malaysia including, Naim Syah Razad, Syafiq Yusof, Fauzi Amiruddin, Ng XinYing, Khairi Mokhtar and Melinda Kwong Mei Kuan as well as dancers from LASALLE. This production has been supported by Juxt Studio Malysia, Merdeka Awards, and LASALLE.
