About TRANS/POSITION
TRANS/POSITION is a mixed bill of contemporary dance works by Fairul Zahid and Naim Sayahrazad and produced by JUXT Studio, Malaysia, LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, and College of Creative Arts UiTM. This year Fairul Zahid and Naim will bring four new works to the Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC). TRANS/POSITION represents both Fairul's and Naim's journey as an artist. It reflects the beginning of a traditional dancer and the subsequent shift to contemporary dance. TRANS/POSITION represents how both choreographers construct traditional ideology into contemporary dance. This production has been supported by JUXT Studio, LASALLE, and UiTM.
