Liishvaar is a Malaysian actor and filmmaker with a strong foundation in theatre and film. A Performing Arts graduate and current Film Production student at Sunway University, he also works as a photographer, videographer, and event/stage manager while actively writing and directing his own film and theatre productions. Alongside his creative practice, he is engaged in creative education, having facilitated workshops in photography, videography, and website design.
He directed the award-winning short film Engal Vidhi (Our Fate) (2024) and Naraksha (2026), a Tamil traditional classical dance-theatre collaboration between artists from Penang and Kuala Lumpur that explored the impact of cyberbullying. The production premiered in George Town in February 2026 and received positive responses from audiences. Through his work, Liishvaar aims to create stories that leave a meaningful impact.
As an actor, he made his film debut as Arun in Punch Arumugam (2025), followed by his role as Rishi in Sadangu (2026). He is currently freelancing in the corporate and creative industries as a photographer, videographer, and event/stage manager.
